Lemon Ginger Water

There are plenty of ways to infuse the water you drink. You can use frozen fruit, fresh fruit, fruit juice. The options are endless! But I particularly love the combination of ginger and lemon, so why not add it to my water?

This Lemon Ginger Water is super simple to make! Simply start by boiling four cups of water. Add in the sliced ginger, and allow that to steep for about 15-20 minutes.

After steeping, strain out the slices of ginger and discard them. You can either allow time for the water to cool if serving cold, or pour immediately into glasses if serving hot.

Then simply add slices of fresh lemon to each glass, and serve! You can add ice cubes if you choose to serve it cold, too.

While I like to limit mine to just lemon and ginger flavor, some folks also like to add a dollop of honey or agave nectar to sweeten it up a bit. Some also like to include fresh mint leaves.
