From the time Robin Andrea Williamson was born on October 13, 1975, until her untimely passing on August 27, 2023, in Greensboro, North Carolina, she brought happiness, light, and love into the lives of those around her.

The first born to the late Patricia Ann Robinson Williamson and the late Robert Andrew Williamson, Jr., Robin had pizzazz and was known known for inspiring smiles and bringing laughter to all those around her. With her easy-going nature, Robin had a remarkable ability to uplift everyone she encountered. This loving nature followed her throughout her life.

Robin was an active member of the youth choir and junior usher board at St. James Baptist Church as a child. She was a member of The Future Business Leaders of America and a member of the homecoming court while attending Grimsley High School. She also participated in track and field and volleyball while attending Kiser Middle School. She continued her education at North Carolina Central University, where she honed her business acumen, made lifelong friends, and established a community for herself and her classmates.

Our vivacious butterfly was devoted to her friends' and family's extended families. Robin's best friend and constant companion was Kristi, her sister. Kristi never left her side, providing unwavering love and support, cementing their unbreakable bond. Robin frequently said that Kristi was the anchor that kept her grounded, and their careful bond kept them intact through various challenges. She looked out for Keasean, her nephew, as if he were her own child. She lavished him with unreserved love and kindness, her love for him exceeding all expectations. Robin also had a special bond with her

cousins, who she thought were closer to her than cousins because they were always there for her. She was one of many cousins whose maternal grandmother, the late Mariah Williams Robinson, looked after them and taught them all the value of family. In addition, she had a special bond with friends of the family and their children, who became a part of her family and were like her brothers and sisters.

Robin's affectionate nature extended to her chosen friends, whom she also accepted as siblings. They became an essential component of her support system as she found solace and contentment in their company.

She had a profound impact on those around her, whether it was through her warm smile, genuine interest in other people, or ability to make any situation fun. Robin's friends were aware that they could always rely on her to have fun and meaningful conversations with them. She invited her friends to join her family's circle and created a community wherever she went.

All through her life, Robin stayed a committed and steadfast representative, exhibiting her obligation to her work and the individuals around her. Appreciating exiting the workforce following 25 years of Retail Management, she couldn't simply head out toward the distant horizon. Consequently, she resumed employment under the guise of "part-time" status. She was on her way to a second career with endless possibilities when her management skills were quickly recognized. She always made connections and provided excellent customer service wherever she met people. She was a shining example of professionalism and positivity to those who were fortunate enough to work with her. In both her personal and professional life, she worked tirelessly to ensure the happiness and well-being of those she cared about. During this difficult time, the outpouring of love from her coworkers reflects the spirit of who she was. She always got the job done, even when she was having fun at work.

An energetic Duke fan, pool devotee, admirer of butterflies and purple and Duke blue, Robin appreciated life without limit. She really loved going to Comic Cons and she had an affection for dealing with kids and was "Aunt" to her companion's youngsters. She had a big heart and a few bad jokes, was an avid lover of people and a caregiver. And, of course, that enormous grin.

In recollecting Robin Andrea Williamson, let us praise the amazing bliss she brought to our lives and the unflinching adoration she imparted to those lucky enough to know her. She will always be remembered for her ability to bring joy and laughter to everyone she met. Robin, fly! Our butterfly took flight and gained her wings... fly Robin...fly!
